This blog is made by me to be sure that the real Darkstick stays alive. This blog will be like the last one, but it is only me, so not as much will be added.

Black intel? Shamin spotted!

We have received word that the black may attack soon! This is based off of Ice killing Garret, to weaken our forces. Their main HQ will be scouted to recover information and help us protect ourselves against future attacks. The Shamin was found at temporal tower, still alive after all this time, and after the beating he took from Ros.  He was pounded again and his location is unknown. (Possible locations: Treefort city or the Black ocean HQ.) He clobbered Ros with a gatline gun, and Ros took quite a few hits. Following, he escaped. More will be posted as it comes in.

New Map!

I recently finished making a new map of Regen.

This new map includes more terrains, better symbols, more towns, some completely repositioned areas, provinces, and an entirely independent country called the Independent Republic of Tarcisa. (IRT)

I would already have the map put at the bottom where the old one is, but we have yet to reach a decision on whether I'm to be granted admin status again yet.

Also, we plan to move Civar Essano to the magic page to make room for our new page, the world page.

This page will have a map up top, possibly modified from the bottom one, and will take you in-depth to the names, statuses, history, and downfall of all the 19 towns, which includes the Eathral Ruins, Spacial Rift, Inferno Volcano, and the Black Island Hq and Black Ocean HQ.

Anti-Racism Note

I've been meaning to do this for a while. Here it goes.

By the using the term "Blacks" as the main enemies, we do not mean people who have black skin color in real life. Each type is associated with a color, and people are the color of their element. The Dark element is associated with the color black, so we use the term "Blacks" to reference the dark type, whom come in great numbers, and therefore cannot be named individually. Also, we cannot call them the "Darks" because of countless reasons.

Edit by tubbyor: If we called them the 'darks' it would just sound weird. "The darks are coming" doesn't sound good. "The blacks are coming" sounds better. No offence, but I just think it sounds better, and we're used to it and we would have to change everything on the site if it was changed. I hope you understand.

BIG darkstick movie!

Ros hasn't written in a while has he? Anyway, a new project has been decided by moi! I will be taking all concept art and smashing it all together in one movie, just like the other darkstick movie, but a lot better!

Adding to the media section! Darkstick screen savers?

We will be making Darkstick screen savers! Instructions on how to put them as your screen saver will be in the media page. Just Right-click one of the concept art pics and choose: "Save image as."
If you're on Mac, this is a little bit more tricky, or just drag it to your desktop.
1. Hold the command/apple key.
2. Still holding the command key, hold "Option" as well.
3. Now hold the "4" key at the same time.
4. Click and drag a box around the wanted picture and let go of all keys.
5. Find your picture.

New Breeds?

New characters are arriving soon in darkstick!!!!!!! New cross breeds are popping up all over the map in darkstick. Rock and fire are starting to cross and their sons and daughters are starting to have both their parents powers. These types which we call the corroded can put both their powers together to create a whole new ability. Rock and fire have began shooting meteors across the sky, and that is why there have been so many meteor showers in the world of Darkstick. Apparently this process has been going on for some time, but now it has fully developed.

New type? Flying? Are we crazy? NO!

We are thinking of adding a new character to the Darkstick universe. We have no name yet, so contact us with ideas! We're probably going to make the character a girl, but no final decision has been made. She will probably be the strong but silent type you know? Plus, because she is flying type she will probably have wings. Let us know what you think her name should be and if she should be a boy or girl.

Garret: The illusion, now found dead

Ros, (the character) had apparantly been seeing Garret when he wasn't really there. Garret died in the arena fight conducted by White. He was talking to Ros at some points and swore to avenge Arrow before he died. This information was discovered by Metalica on Monday, April 25, the day after Easter 2011. He will be missed.

Asassanation attempt succeded! Arrow dead

On Saturday, Feb. 5, Arrow, one of the two last poison users, dropped dead to the floor.
The killer, happens to be the so called "Chosen One" Ros. This was unexpected, since he has a vast history with Arrow, in which he asked us not to discuss. There were two witnesses besides Ros, and Scar, who was driven insane, because of this event. It triggered his memories for the war, and made him think he was back on the battlefield. The other witnesses were Garret and Metalica, who ran after Ros, shooting bullets in their wake. In the end Arrow still died, the time was around 12:30, on February 5, 3025.
(Be aware that this world was created before the Earth we know.)

This is the News post. Here I will post 5 new things so you know where to look for the hip new info. I will also post the date things happened and their maker.

THE SCOOP!
The scoop, a new part of our news page, is where I or Tubbyor will be posting our next big planed addition. Once this addition is actually added, it will disappear from here and be added to the standard news.

The scoop is:
Ros: The new secret project, Darkstick Betrayal, is up. Or it should be, but when I posted this it wasn't up. That's Tubbyor's job. anyways, I plan to make extended versions periodically which will pit our fighters against new enemies and themselves in new locations. Some possible locations are the ocean, the desert, the tundra, and some other thing. I plan to make 4 extended versions, each adding 100 frames to the original, until we have 550 frames. I am open to suggestions for the fourth one, and whoever submits the chosen terrain will receive 2 rewards points when the rewards program kicks off. (if you follow us, of course.)

We have decided to make the rewards program either 2 types. Here they are.
a)cumulative. ex: at 5 points, you get something, and in another five points, get the 10 point reward.
b)catalog. Ex: you get 5 points, and pick one of thee 5 point prizes. you then lose your five points.

we think we will do catalog, but have not decided yet. we may leave it to a vote.
Remember, this is undecided.

An explanation on Darkstick, the world on the other side.

You have to keep an open your mind. Believe it or not, there ARE PEOPLE ON THE OTHER SIDE. The other side of this world. Not the earth! As in a spiritual point of view. There are stick people. People that look like stick figures. Each one of them has there own element. Like fire, water, lightning, grass, and the forbidden element, dark. Dark is a horrible element. The user gets to control this black sludge that can freeze on command. This same sludge engulfs the soul, which is the source of all elemental power.

Anyway, each has their own power. There are many elements.
The spiritual elements are: Ether, (ather) Voidus, and Shadow
The natural elements are: Water, Fire, Plant, Ice, Psychic, Ground, Lightning, Poison, and Metal.
And the moral elements are: Light and dark.

Remember that.
It may save your life someday.
